Zanna Records lands unsolicited airplay on NRJ Network Hamburg and KISS FM Seattle
SEDONA, Ariz. — Independent artist Gianluca Zanna, founder of Zanna Records and one half of the EDM duo Luca and Claudette, has picked up organic, unsolicited airplay on two major commercial radio networks for the first time: KBKS-FM "Hits 106.1" (iHeartMedia, Seattle/Tacoma) and ENERGY Hamburg (NRJ Group, Germany). Neither station was contacted by Zanna Records before the plays aired — both pickups were entirely organic.
Why It Matters
Commercial radio networks like iHeartMedia and NRJ Group's ENERGY brand are notoriously difficult to access — even for major-label artists working with dedicated radio promotion teams and six-figure campaign budgets. Playlists at this tier are typically locked to priority adds from the major labels, syndicated content, and research-tested rotations. Independent artists rarely break through at all, let alone on two such networks within the same week.
Zanna Records has never submitted music, pitched, or made any contact with either station or network. Both plays represent programmer-driven, organic adds — a signal that the music is resonating on its own merits, without the support of a label radio-promotion apparatus.
KBKS-FM "Hits 106.1" — Seattle/Tacoma
KBKS-FM (106.1 FM), licensed to Tacoma and serving the full Seattle metropolitan area — one of the largest radio markets in the United States — is owned by iHeartMedia and broadcasts a Top 40/CHR format at 73,000 watts from a transmitter on Tiger Mountain. Long known as "106.1 KISS FM," the station now broadcasts as Hits 106.1 and is the flagship home of the nationally syndicated Jubal Show in mornings.

ENERGY Hamburg — Germany
ENERGY Hamburg is part of the ENERGY network, operated in Germany by NRJ Group — the same French media group behind the flagship NRJ brand — and serves Hamburg, one of Germany's largest metropolitan markets. ENERGY stations run dance- and hit-forward commercial formats and are among the most-listened-to networks in the country.
The station aired "You Are My Destiny (Future Remix)" by Gianluca Zanna, drawing a reported audience of 134,000 for the single play — among the largest audience figures logged for Zanna Records music in Germany.
Part of a Growing Global Footprint
These two commercial adds extend a radio campaign that now spans 523 verified stations across more than 100 countries and territories, tracked through WARM and Songstats. They join a run of other major unsolicited pickups, including NDR 1 Niedersachsen (Germany's largest public broadcaster, ~6.9 million single-play audience), Radio 105 (Italy's national network, ~4.39 million), and RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta (Ireland's national Irish-language public broadcaster, in repeat rotation since July 2026). KBKS-FM and ENERGY Hamburg mark the first commercial, iHeartMedia- and NRJ Group-owned network adds to join that list.
