SEDONA, Ariz. — October 30, 2026 — Zanna Records today announced “Love Written in the Stars,” a country love song written by label founder Gianluca Zanna and produced by Danny Saber, whose career spans the Rolling Stones, David Bowie, U2, Madonna, Ozzy Osbourne, Alice Cooper, Megadeth and Public Enemy. The Stripped (voice and guitar) version arrives on all streaming platforms on November 15, 2026, followed by the Official Version on December 1, 2026.
All four versions can be heard now on YouTube, and the song’s official master recordings are now open for licensing in film, television and advertising. Zanna Records is also actively seeking an established country artist to record the song and take it to a wider audience.
“Love Written in the Stars” tells a story millions of people now live: falling deeply for someone you have never met in person. Built on a haunting minor-key progression with acoustic guitars and pedal steel, the song turns long-distance longing into a declaration of fate — “Never met you, yet I feel you near / A cosmic connection that whispers in my ear.”
For Saber, best known for genre-crossing work in rock, electronica, funk and hip-hop, the song marks a move into country. “One of the blessings of my career has been never to be bound by genres,” Saber said. “In today’s landscape, country has become the new rock.”
On what drew him to this song, he added: “It all begins and ends with a great song.”
Saber has told Zanna that only a couple of times in his career has he had the chance to work on songs that went on to become major hits — and that he believes “Love Written in the Stars” is one of them.
“I wrote this song for everyone who has ever loved someone across a distance — across the miles, across time zones, or across the gap between finding someone online and finally meeting them,” said Gianluca Zanna, founder and CEO of Zanna Records. “When a producer with Danny’s history tells you a song is special, you listen. Now we want to find the right voice to carry it.”
