Zanna Records adds thousands of new subscribers in a single week as monthly listenership climbs to 1.58 million on YouTube Music — and one of Chile's major radio networks begins playing his music with no submission at all.
ARIZONA, USA — August 21, 2026 — Independent artist and Zanna Records founder Gianluca Zanna has surpassed 50,000 subscribers on YouTube, capping a period of unusually rapid growth for the independent musician. The channel added several thousand subscribers in the space of a single week — climbing from roughly 45,600 on August 15 to 50,000 by August 21 (vidIQ-certified) — while lifetime views rose to 43.5 million and monthly listenership on YouTube Music reached a new high of 1.58 million.
Accelerating Momentum
The pace of growth is notable for an artist operating entirely independently, without major-label backing driving the numbers. In addition to the subscriber surge, Zanna's channel recorded more than 5.1 million views in a single recent month.
On YouTube Music, his catalog is led by “I AM (DESTINY)” at over 2 million plays and “You Are My Destiny (Danny Saber Remix)” featuring Joseph Wooten at 1.8 million, contributing to the 1.58 million monthly audience.
Organic Reach: Discovered, Not Pitched
Underlining that momentum, one of Chile's prominent national music networks, Radio Carolina, recently began airing Zanna's music — a placement the artist did not solicit or submit.
Broadcasting from Santiago since 1975 across a network of stations nationwide, Radio Carolina reaches a large youth audience with dance, pop and electronic programming. Its decision to play “I AM DESTINY” organically, with no pitch from the label, reflects the way Zanna's music has increasingly been discovered and adopted by broadcasters on its own merit.
