Zanna Records Reaches Berlin With Music, Not With Bombs
Italian-American artist Gianluca Zanna adds FluxFM Berlin to a German airplay footprint now spanning 23 stations, as his catalogue approaches 45 million YouTube views
Sedona, ARIZONA — August 29, 2026 — Independent label Zanna Records announced today that founder and artist Gianluca Zanna has been added to the playlist of 100,6 FluxFM, the Berlin station known across Germany as “die Alternative im Radio,” bringing the label's German radio footprint to 23 stations and its worldwide total to 509 stations across 99 countries and six continents.
The FluxFM broadcast on August 29 reached an audience of 382,000 listeners — the second-largest single-play audience documented in Zanna Records' airplay history, behind only a spin on NDR 1 Niedersachsen in Hannover that reached 6.9 million.

FluxFM joins four other Berlin broadcasters already carrying Zanna Records releases — pure fm Berlin, Clubsandwich, Like That Underground, and DEEREDRADIO BLACK-Zone — making the German capital one of the label's strongest single-city markets worldwide.
Across Germany, Zanna Records releases have been detected on 23 stations, among them NDR 1 Niedersachsen (Hannover), ANTENNE BAYERN Dance XXL, MDR Sputnik Club (Halle), Sunshine Live (Mannheim), ByteFM (Hamburg), coloRadio (Dresden), eldoradio* (Dortmund), Radio X (Frankfurt), RauteMusik TechHouse (Aachen), and Radio Fantasy Dance (Augsburg).
Broadcasting on 100.6 FM across Berlin and Brandenburg since 2004 — originally as Motor FM — FluxFM has earned an ECHO, the Deutscher Radiopreis, and an International Music Industry Award in Los Angeles, and is recognised for championing new artists both on air and at FluxBau, its own venue on the Spree.
Charleston, West Virginia joins the same week
The Berlin milestone arrived alongside a first American detection at The Beat in Charleston, West Virginia, the rhythmic contemporary station serving the Kanawha Valley, which played “I AM DESTINY” on August 29. The same week brought first plays on Energy 98 in Beaverton, Oregon, Brutal 91.9 FM in Medellín, Colombia, and the dance platform Evolution in the United States.
Streaming momentum
The airplay expansion tracks a steep climb in Zanna's digital audience. His YouTube channel has passed 58,100 subscribers and 44.8 million lifetime views, up from 36.8 million in July — a pace that puts the channel on course to cross 50 million views.
On YouTube Music, Zanna now reaches a monthly audience of 1.79 million.
His newest single, “Cuba Libre (Rising)” — featuring Rudy Sarzo, Robert Sarzo, and Jizzy Pearl — has drawn 943,000 plays and stands as the most-played track on his artist profile in the last 4 weeks.
Zanna's earlier release “Wake Up America” has been used in more than 100,000 creator videos totalling over 22 million TikTok views, and was licensed to the public radio program This American Life.
Zanna ranks in the top 5% of streamed songwriters and artists worldwide.
