How an iPhone, two entry tickets, and a century of family history became one of the most visually stunning music videos of the year

There’s an old Hollywood rule: you can’t fake magic. You can spend millions trying to manufacture it, or you can do what Luca and Claudette did — show up to one of the most iconic buildings on earth, press record, and let the story tell itself.

“Looking for You – Silent Era,” the latest release from the Sedona-based EDM duo, is a time-bending, visually breathtaking music video that’s barreling toward one million views with zero promotional budget behind it. No production crew. No camera operators. No studio backing. Just Gianluca Zanna (Luca) and singer Claudette Lyons, two Empire State Building entry tickets, and an iPhone. Oh, and over a century of family history etched into the very ground they were standing on.

The Ghost in the Machine

The concept is pure cinema. Claudette travels through time — from a sleek, dangerous future back through the fog of 1930s New York — searching across eras for Luca, who waits for her at the top of the world. The visuals swing from black-and-white art deco atmosphere to neon-drenched Manhattan rooftops, from a retro 1933 office with a typewriter and a rotary phone to the gleaming corridors of the Empire State Building’s observation deck catching blue afternoon light.

It shouldn’t work this well on zero budget. But it does — because the story underneath it is real.

She Was Always Meant to Be There

Here’s where “Looking for You – Silent Era” crosses from impressive into genuinely extraordinary: Claudette’s Irish ancestors owned a stone masonry commercial business on the very block where the Empire State Building now stands — before it was ever built. Her family worked that ground before the most famous skyscraper in the world rose from it.

So when Claudette walks those corridors in her signature black latex suit, gloves pressed against the steel railings as Manhattan stretches out beneath her — she isn’t just a performer. She’s a descendant returning to a place her bloodline helped build. That’s not a music video concept. That’s a homecoming.

Written in Time, Performed Across Eras

The song itself was written by Gianluca Zanna and performed by both Zanna and Claudette Lyons. It’s the kind of track that earns its cinematic ambition — layered, aching, and built around the feeling of searching through noise and time for the one connection that matters. The “Silent Era” treatment strips the production to something almost intimate beneath its grandeur, letting Claudette’s performance carry the emotional weight.

The video, co-directed by Gianluca and Claudette, unfolds like a short film. Claudette in 1930s black-and-white, hunched over a typewriter as a March 1933 calendar hangs on the wall. Claudette through a glass elevator — a time machine between worlds. Claudette on Fifth Avenue in the present day, the city indifferent around her, still searching. And Luca on the rooftop at night, the skyline glittering behind him, waiting. The invisible thread between them is the whole point.

Already Crossing Borders

Without a single dollar in promotion, “Looking for You – Silent Era” is already in heavy rotation across Scandinavian radio — including Puls FM Sweden and The Beat Sweden — and has been lighting up over 20 FM stations across Brazil. Starting next week, the track moves into U.S. radio rotation, which means the wave that’s already building internationally is about to hit home.

A million views with no marketing. International radio play on two continents before the U.S. push even begins. The video was shot in a single day with consumer technology and two admission tickets.

The Independent Playbook, Rewritten

Luca and Claudette are signed with JJ Entertainment in Hollywood, and operate under the Zanna Records label out of Sedona, Arizona — a label Gianluca built from the ground up without major label infrastructure, now reaching radio in over 39 countries. Their catalog includes EDM, classical, and hard rock, and their previous single “You Are My Destiny (Future Remix)” hit #1 on the North American College and Community Radio Chart and landed on Billboard’s official Spotify playlist as the only independent artist without major label backing.

But “Looking for You – Silent Era” might be their most personal statement yet — a love story, a time travel fantasy, and a piece of family history all collapsed into one iPhone-shot video on top of the Empire State Building.

Two tickets. One phone. A century of ghosts. Nearly a million views and counting.

Looking for You – Silent Era” by Luca and Claudette is available now on all streaming platforms. Currently in rotation across Sweden, Brazil, and entering U.S. radio next week.
