Two Italian families, one American stage — the Sedona-based EDM duo brings its catalog to North American audiences
SEDONA, ARIZONA — Zanna Records has announced a new booking collaboration between its flagship EDM duo Luca and Claudette and Velocita Music Entertainment & Marketing Agency, LLC, by Bruce Gambino opening the door to live performances across the United States and Canada. The collaboration brings together two men shaped by the same migration, a generation apart. Gianluca Zanna — who performs as "Luca" — was born in Italy and emigrated to the United States, eventually founding Zanna Records independently in 1998 without major label backing. Bruce Gambino, who leads Velocita, carries his roots from his Sicilian father and grew up within the Italian community in Canada before building his agency in Oklahoma.
"I came here from Italy with nothing but songs," said Zanna.
"Bruce's father made the same crossing from Sicily. We are two halves of the same story, and now we get to put that story on stage in front of American audiences. There is something right about that."
Luca and Claudette pair Zanna's production and songwriting with the vocals of Claudette Lyons.
The duo draws on a Zanna Records catalog spanning more than 150 original compositions across EDM, rock, classical, and operatic styles — a range that gives their live show unusual breadth, moving between club-oriented electronic material and more cinematic, orchestral arrangements.
Under the arrangement, Velocita will represent Luca and Claudette for live performance engagements throughout the United States and Canada. Booking inquiries can be directed to Velocita Music Entertainment.
