SEDONA, ARIZONA — Zanna Records announced today a convergence of milestones that would be notable for any label, and are remarkable for one run by a single person from an off-grid ranch in the Arizona high desert: a new in-store distribution with Italian retail-media network M-Cube, a YouTube channel that has crossed 22,000 subscribers and 36,297,120 total views, and a verified radio footprint of 481 stations across 99 countries and territories on six continents.

Italy, revisited — on different terms

The M-Cube distribution carries a particular weight for founder Gianluca Zanna. M-Cube, headquartered in Italy, serves 400 brands through 45,000 installations across 106 countries.

Via the distributor iPlugger, it will now carry the same 15 Zanna Records titles recently placed with Mood Media — the world's leading in-store media specialist, present in 150 countries and 500,000 commercial locations. Together, the two agreements put Zanna's catalog into retail environments on a scale most independent labels never reach.

Zanna left Italy in 1998. Before he did, he had watched a business collapse under a tax burden he could not survive, and spent roughly fifteen months living on the streets of Rome, performing as a costumed gladiator near the Imperial Forums. “When I left, Italy had nothing to offer me but the pavement,” Zanna said. “Now an Italian company is carrying my songs into 45,000 stores in 106 countries. I am not bitter about any of it — I am grateful.”

The audience keeps finding the music

The label's YouTube channel, Gianluca Zanna Music, now stands at 22,000 subscribers and 36,297,120 total views — having crossed 20,000 subscribers on July 11, 2026 and 35 million views on July 9, 2026, both vidIQ-certified. The channel added roughly 2,000 subscribers and nearly a million views in the space of a single week. Zanna also ranks among the top 5% of streamed songwriters worldwide, with a monthly YouTube Music audience of 1.36 million.

481 stations, and the kind that can't be bought

The radio footprint now stands at 481 stations across 99 countries and territories on six continents, verified through WARM (World Airplay Radio Monitor) and Songstats. Two recent additions illustrate the range. In Brighton, England, Zanna's “You Are My Destiny (Remix)” was picked up by Slack City

the DAB station founded by radio veteran Daniel Nathan and staffed by selectors including Coldcut's Matt Black and Jonathan More, and Colin Newman of the post-punk band Wire. The Face magazine once called it the coolest station in Brighton. It is deliberately anti-playlist: every record on air is chosen by a human being.

In Argentina, “I Am Destiny” aired on Radio City FM 107.1 in San Salvador de Jujuy — a station with more than 21 years on air, a Top 40 format, its own television programming on Canal 4 Jujuy, and a community of over 120,000 followers.

Its current chart sits Zanna's music in the same rotation as Taylor Swift, Shakira, Bad Bunny, and Lady Gaga.

Zanna Records operates with no major-label backing, no plugger, and minimum promotional budget. Zanna runs the label from a 20-acre off-grid property powered by solar and well water, connected to the world by satellite internet. Its catalog spans more than 150 original compositions across EDM, rock, classical, and operatic styles. Separately, the label's “Wake Up America” has surpassed 20 million views on TikTok, driven by more than 100,000 creator videos using the track, and was licensed to the acclaimed public radio program This American Life.

“Every number here was earned the same way,” Zanna said. “One song at a time, one email at a time, from a ranch with no neighbors.”
