Russia During the Ukraine War · Beirut Under Bombs · Depeche Mode's Radio in Poland · Germany's Largest EDM Network (1,286,000 Listeners) · Japan · Columbia College Chicago · LGBTQ+ Stations on Two Continents · 25 Million YouTube Views · 1.05 Million Monthly YouTube Music Listeners — All Organic. All Unsolicited. All April 2026.

ARIZONA — April 25, 2026 — In fourteen days in April 2026, an independent Italian-American artist operating from a solar-powered, off-grid ranch in the East Arizona wilderness — with no major label, no corporate machine, no radio promotion company, and no promotional budget — achieved what the music industry's most expensive campaigns struggle to manufacture: a genuine, documented, verifiable global moment.
His music was broadcast in Russia during the Ukraine war, in Beirut under active bombardment, on Germany's largest electronic music network to 1,286,000 listeners, on a Polish station dedicated entirely to Depeche Mode, in Japan's Tohoku region, on the student-run radio of Columbia College Chicago, and on dedicated LGBTQ+ stations in both Pretoria, South Africa and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

He crossed 25 million total YouTube views. He crossed 1.05 million monthly listeners on YouTube Music — a number that was still climbing as of April 25, 2026. He reached 301+ WARM-verified radio stations across 78+ countries on 6 continents.
He asked for none of it. Not one market was specifically targeted. The music found the world entirely on its own — and the world kept calling back.

"I am one man, on a solar-powered ranch in the East Arizona wilderness, connected to the world by satellite internet. And the world keeps calling back. That is the only music industry story I know how to tell — and apparently, from Warsaw to Beirut, from Tokyo to Pittsburgh, from Hamburg to Pretoria, people are listening."

WHEN MUSIC GOES WHERE POLITICS CANNOT
On April 13, 2026, Radio Kamchatka Dance in Moscow broadcast "You Are My Destiny – remix" to Russian listeners — while the United States and Russia stood on opposite sides of the Ukraine war. Zanna is an American citizen. He never submitted to the station. His music crossed the battle lines on its own.
Three days later, on April 16, an event now documented as the "Eastern Europe Trifecta" occurred: Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine all played Zanna's music within the same 24-hour window. Three nations bound together by one of the most devastating wars of this century — all broadcasting the same song from Arizona on the same day.
On April 20, Beirut Nights Radio in Lebanon aired "You Are My Destiny – remix" from a city under active bombardment. A DJ in a city being bombed chose to keep the music playing. And on April 21, Poland's RMF Depeche Mode — a station of the RMF Group, Poland's largest commercial radio network, dedicated entirely to the legacy of Depeche Mode — broadcast Zanna's remix to 305,000 verified listeners, on consecutive days. The station returned the following morning without being asked.

"Russia. Belarus. Ukraine. Lebanon. All playing the same song in the same week. Music doesn't carry a passport. It doesn't check borders. A melody can walk into a room where politicians cannot — and that is the greatest power art has ever had."
— Gianluca Zanna

THE AUDIENCES — FROM 79,000 TO 1,286,000
April 20, 2026 stands as the single most-listened-to day in Zanna's documented airplay history. Sunshine-Live Remix in Hamburg — Germany's premier electronic music network since 1997, home of Tiësto, Paul van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, and Robin Schulz — broadcast "You Are My Destiny – remix" to a verified audience of 1,286,000 listeners.

The same day: Croatia's Kapital 3 Radio Techno Zagreb at 222,000, Romania's Radio DEEA Bucharest at 114,000, Spain's RadioAire 1 Alzira at 110,000, Darwin FM Australia, Dance FM 95.5 Cyprus, FM Trance Buenos Aires, and The Beat Sweden playing three different Zanna tracks in rotation. Eight countries. Five continents. One calendar day.
The UK delivered a double milestone on April 23: Dance UK Radio London — home of Above & Beyond, Judge Jules, and Paul Oakenfold — played to 219,400 verified listeners, while SG1 House in Stevenage added 79,400 more, all on the same afternoon.

Neither station was contacted. Canada's CJLL-FM CHIN Ottawa — the National Capital Region's multicultural broadcaster serving 40 communities in 20+ languages — had added the music organically on April 18, the same morning the YouTube channel crossed 24 million views.
NEW MARKETS — JAPAN, CHICAGO, AND TWO CONTINENTS OF LGBTQ+ RADIO
RADIO3 FM 76.2 in Sendai, Japan — a community FM serving the Tohoku region on 76.2 MHz — aired "You Are My Destiny – remix" on April 24, 2026.
Japan is the world's third largest recorded music market, with one of the most tightly regulated radio ecosystems on the planet. Every verified Japanese airplay carries weight that most markets cannot match. Sendai's community FM network, specifically empowered after the 2011 earthquake and tsunami to serve its region, chose an independent artist from Sedona, Arizona for its playlist.

WCRX 88.1 FM — "Chicago's Underground," the student-run radio station of Columbia College Chicago — programmed "You Are My Destiny Future Remix" at 1:19 AM on April 25. The students making programming decisions at WCRX today are the A&R executives, music supervisors, and label managers of tomorrow. Illinois was already in Zanna's active college radio outreach campaign. Chicago found him first.
And from two opposite sides of the planet, two LGBTQ+ community radio stations independently discovered Zanna's music in the same week: Gay SA Radio in Pretoria, South Africa — Africa's only dedicated LGBTQ+ online radio station, launched in 2006 at Pretoria Pride, staffed by 30 passionate volunteers — and Indie Radio FM Gay and LGBT Radio in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The LGBTQ+ community built dance music as much as any producer or DJ — from disco through house through EDM. Two of its stations, on two continents, said yes to the same independent artist from Arizona without knowing the other had done the same.
"Japan. Chicago. Pretoria. Pittsburgh. The LGBTQ+ community found the music on two continents. The world's third-largest music market opened its doors. Columbia College's future music industry professionals made a programming decision. I asked none of them. The music keeps finding the people who feel it."

THE DIGITAL FOOTPRINT — 25 MILLION VIEWS AND CLIMBING
The Gianluca Zanna Music YouTube channel crossed 25,000,000 total views in April 2026 — vidIQ certified. The channel reached 23 million on April 11, 24 million on April 18, and 25 million by April 24: one million new certified views every seven days for three consecutive weeks. Combined with 11,800 subscribers (vidIQ certified, April 2, 2026), the channel represents one of the most documented cases of independent artist organic YouTube growth in the modern streaming era.
YouTube Music tells an equally remarkable story. Monthly listeners crossed 1,000,000 on April 23, then climbed to 1,050,000 by April 25 — still rising.
The top track, "You Are My Destiny (Druumix Remix Future) feat. Claudette Lyons," holds 4.2 million plays.

On TikTok, "Wake Up America" has surpassed 20 million views (Songstats confirmed, April 4, 2026). None of these numbers were purchased, seeded, or manufactured. They are the cumulative result of music that keeps finding new listeners — month after month, platform after platform, country after country.

THE STORY BEHIND THE NUMBERS
Gianluca Zanna was born in Rome, grew since the age of 11 in the Public Boarding School Convitto Nazionale in Rome, than at the he age of 16 he entered the Nunziatella Military Academy in Naples, and before emigrating to America in 1998 he spent fifteen months as a street gladiator performer with nothing but ambition and an unshakeable belief in the power of music.
From a ranch perched on a ridge in the East Arizona wilderness — completely off the grid, powered by solar panels, drawing water from a well drilled into Arizona bedrock, connected to the world by satellite internet alone — he built Zanna Records entirely by himself.

No staff. No major label. No office. One laptop on a granite counter overlooking miles of juniper wilderness and open sky. And from that counter, in April 2026, his music reached Russia and Lebanon and Germany and Poland and Japan and Canada and the UK and South Africa and Chicago and Pittsburgh — all in fourteen days, all without asking.
Zanna is also a Krav Maga Black Belt Military Instructor (certified in Israel under Master Alain Cohen), a Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, and holds NASM certifications in personal training, sports nutrition, and MMA conditioning. He performs as "Luca" in the EDM duo Luca and Claudette alongside singer Claudette Lyons.
His catalog spans 150+ original compositions across EDM, classical, hard rock, and world music. His music has been licensed to NPR's This American Life and covered in Rolling Stone, Forbes, Billboard Italia, Music Connection, and Entrepreneur UK.
On May 15, 2026, Zanna Records releases "Live With No Regrets — Analog Rebellion" a hard rock single recorded live on analog at Clear Lake Studios in North Hollywood, featuring Kevin Martin of Candlebox on vocals, Rudy Sarzo (Quiet Riot/Ozzy/Whitesnake) on bass, Robert Sarzo on guitar, Robin Diaz on drums, and Grammy-nominated producer Danny Saber (U2, Rolling Stones, David Bowie) as music producer.

On June 21, 2026, Zanna Records releases a Soul Remake of "You Are My Destiny" featuring 3-time Grammy-nominated keyboardist Joseph Wooten of the Steve Miller Band.
The world heard 25 million reasons to pay attention in April 2026. May and June are coming.
"Solar power. Well water. Satellite internet. One laptop. One man. Twenty-five million views.
One million monthly listeners. Three hundred radio stations. Seventy-eight countries.
The Arizona wilderness is where this music was born. The entire world is where it lives."
